- Operational since December 2021, the Laboratory has been accredited by the Organismo di Certificazione della Sicurezza Informatica (OCSI) at the Ministry of Economic Development.
Rome, 14 February 2022 - Next Ingegneria dei Sistemi S.p.A., company controlled by the Defence Techa leading group in cybersecurity, big data, intelligence, space and national defence, received certification as a Computer Security Assessment Laboratory (LVS), an award which will allow you to carrying out verification activities in all phases of development, implementation and management of products and systems relevant to Information Security.
For the LVS accreditation, the group invested in technologically advanced areas, trained its staff, and adapted its internal regulations to the required standards that guarantee impartiality, independence and confidentiality in the performance of its tasks.
"LVS, already operational since December, enables the Defence Tech group to check the vulnerabilities of companies' products and IT systems' stated CEO Emilio Gisondi. "We have put a lot of emphasis on the activation of the Laboratory, among the few in Italy, as we consider it a strategic tool for dealing with threats from the digital world. It is a further step for the growth of revenues in the corporate market through the offer of new cyber security services".
The Laboratory has been accredited by the OCSI, Organismo di Certificazione della Sicurezza Informatica, at the Ministry of Economic Development, which verified compliance with the international standard ISO/IEC 17025 (General requirements for laboratory competence) and ISO/IEC IS-15408 (Common Criteria).
The Laboratory offers services that include: evaluation of Security Targets (Security Target) or Protection Profiles (Protection Profile) according to the Common Criteria (ISO/IEC 15408) and for the purposes of certification by the Certification Body and assistance to companies during the certification process for the purpose of drafting the safety documentation required for an evaluation according to Common Criteria ISO/IEC 15408).
