NEXT SYSTEMS ENGINEERING (DEFENCE TECH HOLDING GROUP) SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDES THE FORMAL ACCREDITATION PROCESS OF THE CE.VA. (ASSESSMENT CENTRE)

  • The Centre is authorised to conduct security assessments in accordance with the 'National Scheme for the Evaluation and Certification of Information Technology Security, for the Protection of Classified Information, concerning Internal and External State Security', in accordance with the international standard ISO IEC15408 'Common Criteria';
  • In order to qualify for CE.VA. Defence Tech has planned investments in recent years to set up technologically advanced areas and hire highly qualified personnel;
  • The centre is already operational and is in negotiations for several orders in the Aerospace and Defence sectors.

Rome, 11 January 2022 - Next Ingegneria dei Sistemi S.p.A., controlled by the Defence Techa leading group in cybersecurity, big data, intelligence, space and national defence, successfully passed the accreditation process of the Evaluation Centre (CE.VA.), which is responsible for verifying the security conditions and absence of vulnerabilities of products, equipment and systems used in infrastructures and networks of national interest. 

The CE.VA. qualification is the result of Defence Tech's recent investments in technologically advanced areas and the hiring of highly qualified personnel.

"Next is an excellence for the security of the country's system and one of the few national players capable of providing highly specialised and enabling services for the management of classified information". stated Emilio Gisondi, CEO of Defence Tech. "Accreditation as an Assessment Centre will enable the company to consolidate and further strengthen its position in the Defence and National Security industry market, an objective that fits perfectly with the company's Industrial Plan. The first successes of this accreditation are already evident: the Group has already been awarded several contracts with major players in the sector.

CE.VA. offers services that include: security assessments of ICT products and systems according to the Common Criteria (ISO/IEC 15408) and for the purposes of certification by the Security Information Department, evaluation of Security Targets (Security Target) or Protection Profiles (Protection Profile) and assistance to companies during the certification process in drawing up the documentation required for an evaluation according to the Common Criteria (ISO/IEC 15408)

Degree in Business Administration from the University of Naples 'Federico II' with an MBA in Business Management achieved with high merit in 2008 by winning a scholarship provided by Invitalia S.p.A. from which she was selected in the first months of attendance as the best MBA profile.

After a brief experience in Invitalia S.p.A., he immediately held increasingly important roles in the management of Administration, Finance and Control of companies operating in the defence sector, theInformation Technology, of Cyber and National Security. In addition, she was Treasury Manager in companies operating in theEnergy.

He obtained an Executive Master in Finance (EMF) at SDA Bocconi in 2020, with a specialisation in Corporate Finance & Control and, in 2022, a further specialisation track in Asset, Wealth Management also at SDA Bocconi.

For over five years it has been the Chief Financial Officer of the Defence Tech Group, whose listing process he followed on the Euronext Growth Milan segment of Borsa Italiana.

From 2017 to 2024, she was a member of the boards of directors of all the legal entity of the Defence Tech Group with delegated powers over their financial management and from October 2021 to October 2024 was a Board Member of the Holding Company.

It is currently also Investor Relations Manager of the listed Defence Tech and follows all ESG issues of the Group.

In July 2021, she was recognised by Federmanager as one of the best talents under 44 at national level, receiving an important award as Young Manager 2020.
