{"id":16664,"date":"2022-10-03T18:40:00","date_gmt":"2022-10-03T16:40:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.defencetech.it\/?p=16664"},"modified":"2025-03-27T13:20:32","modified_gmt":"2025-03-27T12:20:32","slug":"the-new-ip-cipher-from-defence-tech-and-leonardo-arrives","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tinextadefence.it\/en\/the-new-ip-cipher-from-defence-tech-and-leonardo-arrives\/","title":{"rendered":"New IP cipher from Defence Tech and Leonardo\ufffc arrives"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The new IP cipher created in collaboration between<strong> Defence Tech<\/strong>who took care of the software part, and <strong>Leonardo Electronic Division<\/strong>responsible for the design of the hardware part and the production of the serial equipment in order to ensure full control of the new product by the national industrial chain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The objective of the new cipher is <strong>raising the security level of Italian Defence computer networks<\/strong>, <strong>of Institutional and Governmental Bodies that are part of the 'National Cyber Security Perimeter' and large and structured companies<\/strong>through the use of state-of-the-art encryption algorithms and the implementation of post-quantum encryption algorithms, which can also withstand attacks from quantum computers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The presentation event involved Defence Tech, Leonardo and a number of institutional figures, as well as partners and customers who got a preview of the product's features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Quantum Resistant IP cipher will be developed both in a 'commercial' version intended for customers who need to protect sensitive but unclassified information and in a version dedicated to the <strong>protection of classified information<\/strong> (up to the RESTRICTED level).<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00c8 stata presentata nei giorni scorsi la nuova cifrante IP creata in collaborazione tra Defence Tech, che ha curato la parte software, e Leonardo Electronic Division, responsabile per la progettazione della parte hardware e della produzione degli apparati di serie al fine di assicurare il pieno controllo del nuovo prodotto da parte della filiera industriale [&hellip;]<\/p>","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":26257,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[1],"tags":[110],"class_list":["post-16664","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-senza-categoria","tag-articoli"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.8 -
