{"id":21535,"date":"2024-03-12T11:16:44","date_gmt":"2024-03-12T10:16:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.defencetech.it\/?p=21535"},"modified":"2025-03-27T13:18:06","modified_gmt":"2025-03-27T12:18:06","slug":"by-2023-we-have-reduced-our-co2-emissions-heres-how","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tinextadefence.it\/en\/by-2023-we-have-reduced-our-co2-emissions-heres-how\/","title":{"rendered":"By 2023, we have reduced our CO2 emissions (here's how)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There can no longer be an industrial development project that does not include an environmental sustainability programme.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because of this, since last year Defence Tech has been engaging in a CO2 Reduction process (an action that falls under the broader ESG plan of <strong>Protecting the Planet<\/strong>) through four modes already set up:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>use <strong>Ricoh printers with Blue Angel certifications<\/strong> which prevent the dispersion of fine dust, thus reducing the CO2 produced. In addition, the new type of printer also leads to a reduction in the use of paper, as prints can only be made with the authorisation of a company badge or pin.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>partnership with Foorban <\/strong>for the use of organic cutlery, food and containers. This contractual agreement enables a reduction in the use of plastic in company premises and the sustainable recycling of items related to the food chain.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>recourse to <strong>state-of-the-art servers<\/strong> which reduce energy consumption by up to 30%. &nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>exclusive use of energy from <strong>renewable sources<\/strong> through an agreement with new energy supplier 100% green.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result of these measures, the share of renewable energy in the total energy consumed rose from 36.25% in 2021, to 49.18% in 2022 to <strong>53%<\/strong> of 2023.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Often it is just a matter of taking the first step, because helping to protect the planet is possible, even without giving up.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Ready to bring and implement improvements in this and the coming years!<\/em>&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Non pu\u00f2 pi\u00f9 esistere un progetto di sviluppo industriale che non preveda un programma di sostenibilit\u00e0 ambientale.&nbsp; A ragione di ci\u00f2, dall\u2019anno scorso Defence Tech si sta impegnando in un processo di Riduzione della CO2 (azione che rientra sotto il pi\u00f9 ampio piano ESG di Protezione del Pianeta) attraverso quattro modalit\u00e0 gi\u00e0 messe a sistema:&nbsp; [&hellip;]<\/p>","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":26257,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[103,99,6],"tags":[110],"class_list":["post-21535","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-tinextadefenceesg","category-tinextadefencenews","category-news","tag-articoli"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.8 -
