In addition to CE.VA. Defence Tech, through its subsidiary NEXT Ingegneria dei Sistemi SpA, has also accredited its Laboratory in the civil sector, Security Assessment Laboratory (LVS).
The laboratory was accredited by the Organismo di Certificazione della Sicurezza Informatica (OCSI), at the Agenzia Cybersecurezza Nazionale (ACN), which verified its compliance with the international standard ISO/IEC 17025 (General requirements for laboratory competence) and ISO/IEC IS-15408 (Common Criteria).
Our LVS is qualified to conduct security assessments of products, systems or commercial protection profiles and offers services that include:
- evaluation of Security Targets or Protection Profiles according to the Common Criteria (ISO/IEC 15408) and for the purpose of certification by the Certification Body;
- assistance to companies during the certification process for the drafting of the safety documentation required for an evaluation according to the Common Criteria (ISO/IEC 15408).
LVSs are a valuable tool for maintaining the standards of security in the civil sectorHowever, the Defence Tech Group is not stopping there, and is also finalising the accreditation process of its Test Laboratory (LAP) at the National Assessment and Certification Centre (CVCN) within the National Cybersecurity Agency.
Accreditation as an Accredited Test Laboratory (LAP), will allow us to provide support in the testing phase, in the context of assessing the security of ICT goods, systems and services intended for use in the context of the National Cyber Security Perimeter.
