T-Defence, is looking for System Engineers to be employed in Defence projects (TOJ training is required for the job).
Place of work:Rome and Pomezia.
Description of activity:
- Design of physically and functionally complex systems and sub-systems;
- Safety & Reliability of complex systems and sub-systems;
- Support for Verification and Validation (V&V) of complex systems and sub-systems;
- Use of the main IT tools for managing system engineering activities;
- Application of classical system engineering methodologies and new methodologies based on Model Based System Engineering (MBSE).
Required qualifications:
- Degree in STEM disciplines;
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English;
- Ability to work in teams in international contexts.
Required skills:
- Soft skills: ability to be autonomous, predisposition to work in a team, problem solving, analysis of the application domain;
- Availability for travel in Italy or abroad, according to project requirements.

For projects related to the defence domain, total presence activities are required.
Description of activity:
The main activities in which the resources will be involved, with training and mentoring of more experienced colleagues, will concern
- Analysis of System Specifications and Requirements;
- Component Software Architecture Design;
- Writing Software Requirements;
- Development of the functionality to be provided by the component in the C/C++ language with an MDE (Model Driven Engineering) approach using the IBM Suite (Doors and Rhapsody);
- Support to the Integration/Verification & Validation department and possible troubleshooting;
- Analysing and supporting the creation and updating of project documentation.
- Degree in STEM disciplines;
- Theoretical knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP);
- Basic knowledge of C/C++ languages;
- Knowledge of Embedded Programming (characteristics, problems, application context);
- Knowledge of the English language;
- Proactivity and predisposition to work in a team;
- Availability for short assignments in Italy or abroad, according to project requirements.
- Academic or self-taught projects / Work experience.
- Master's Degree;
- Academic/occupational background in Embedded Software.
