These are the words of António Guterres, Secretary General of the United Nations, in reference to the long-standing gender gap that still plagues female participation in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) professions.
World Day of Women and Girls in Science aims precisely at overcoming prejudices and urging necessary progress in terms of solving the gender gap.
There are 85 women working at Defence Tech today; in 2023 alone we hired 20 and since the beginning of the year already eight more.
