Tinexta Defence through its operating company Next Ingegneria dei Sistemi S.p.A. has accredited technology laboratories dedicated to security at its disposal.
Next’s Evaluation Centre (Centro di Valutazione accreditato - Ce.Va.) is responsible for assessing the conformity of a product or system with pre-defined security requirements. The lab was accredited by the Italian Department of Security Intelligence (DIS) - Central Secrecy Office (UCSe).
The Centre is qualified to perform security evaluations in accordance with the “National Framework for information technology security evaluation and certification, for the purposes of protecting classified information, concerning Italy's domestic and external security”, in accordance with the international standard ISO IEC15408 «Common Criteria».
The laboratory is equipped with technologically advanced areas for the physical and electromagnetic protection of equipment and information. All activities are performed by highly qualified professionals, trained at the Evaluation Centre (Ce.Va.) of the Defence Department in Pisa.
Our Security Evaluation Laboratories are primarily used in the Defence, Space, and National Security sectors.

The evaluation process
Documentary analysis
We analyse the documents received from the client, in order to understand the complexity of the assessment work and to verify the completeness and appropriateness of the documentation for the purpose of producing the Assessment Plan.
Evaluation
Identifying the documents Ce.Va. needs, indicating when these documents are expected and conducting the evaluation activities in accordance with the set safety objectives, in the light of the Common Criteria.
