Next’s World Economic Forum published the Global Gender Gap Report (relating to 2022), which shows that the gap between men and women is still very wide.
In Italy, the figure is even more alarming: our country, in fact, is ranked 63rd (out of 146) in the ranking that measures the gender gap in terms of economic and political participation, health and level of education.
A status that must change immediately, to create a world where real skills, regardless of gender, prevail.
Women, as much as men, are indispensable growth partners for any ecosystem.
Precisely for this reason Defence Tech, becoming Benefit Corporationhas integrated the valorisation of people and the full realisation of gender equality into its bylaws, as one of the aims of common benefit that the Group aims to pursue.
The process is a long one, but we have chosen it in the knowledge that we are already starting from solid foundations, represented by the examples of the excellent professionals, whom we thank and who have chosen to work for our Group:
– Francesca Panarisi, functional analyst & talent acquisition, defence sector;
– Silvia Loddo, Bid Manager, Space sector;
– Sabrina Palanca, Evaluator in Safety Assessment Laboratories;
– Alessandra Rozzi, Cyber Security Specialist & talent acquisition, Cyber sector.
Four female examples, representing all the women who are part of Defence Tech, to whom we would like to extend our best wishes.
Happy Women's Day, from Defence Tech!
