Our CEO Emilio Gisondi, Aaron Visaggio (CSO) and Enrico Remondini (CTO), represented Defence Tech at the 1st 'Space & Underwater'an international event in which we participated as an official partner.
Thanks to the presence of many authoritative speakers, a number of topics were addressed concerning the strategic nature of the two domains, how they are interconnected and the need to protect them.
In his speech, our CEO not only highlighted how "99% of global internet traffic travels via submarine cables and that the uneven distribution of these cables is the first vulnerability to be addressed" lingered "on the importance of working on the security of supply chain which inevitably also involves small producers whose ability to use a security by design to the problem cannot be taken for granted because of the necessary investments. Consequently, it is as desirable as necessary that the challenge be addressed at the European level in order to achieve a higher level of technological independence."
