n the occasion of the Tor Vergata University's 40th anniversary celebrations, the Roman university has decided to launch a series of cultural events (physical and live streaming) free of charge and freely available.
These include a panel discussion entitled 'Space Science and Technology' at which we at Defence Tech will also participate (on 24 October, from 15:30 to 16:30), at the direct invitation of the University.
Experts from the private sector and academia will discuss the effects of current space activities and the prospects for future ones, with potentially applicable goals for our lives and society:
- climate change;
- communications;
- optimising the use of limited natural resources;
- future space infrastructure.
In addition to our Head of Space Area, Alessio Di Salvo, several academic personalities, the CTO of Thales Alenia Space Italia, Leonardo Mazzini, and Telespazio's Head of Technology, IPR and Product Policy, Stefano Beco, will also take the floor.
To attend the in-presence meeting on 24 October it is advisable to register at this link.
Alternatively, you can follow it live, through this link.
