Yesterday at our offices in Rome we inaugurated our multimedia training centre C4I SYSTEMS (Command, Control, Communication, Computers and Intelligence).
These are the key systems in the digitisation process of the Armed Forces in a world that continues to evolve, where conventional threats join asymmetric ones. To cope with this new scenario, Defence must adopt an all-inclusive approach in an interconnected and secure system.
With this in mind, the Armed Forces have decided to adopt several state-of-the-art solutions such as those provided within the Forza Nec programme, among whose creators was Ing. Giovanni Violante.
And it is to him that we have decided to dedicate our new centre.
It was a good time of meeting and sharing, but it was, without a doubt, feelings that won out.
Special thanks to the evening's guests and in particular to the General Francesco Paolo Figliuolo, commander of the COVI (Comando Operativo Vertice Interforza) and the Ing. Lorenzo Mariani and the family of John.
The future aims to realise the JOC (Joint Operations Centre)through which any kind of information from the five domains of the conflict can be accessed immediately.
And Defence Tech is ready to make its contribution.
