Summer 2022 brought four new recruits already working in the Defence Tech team.
They are Paolo Cesarani and Danilo Vigilanterespectively Mission Controller and Spacecraft Operations Engineer in the Fucino Space Center; Barbara De Stefano, HR Payroll Specialist at Defence Tech; Federico Vivaldi, consultant at AVIO Spa as Mechanical Assembly Manager/AIT Manager.
Let us get to know them through their words:
Paolo: "I approached Defence Tech through LinkedIn. I was contacted by a Talent Acquisition and quickly went through the remaining selection process. The world of Defence is new to me and this can only increase my curiosity about it. I am very motivated and eager to become fully operational. This new adventure will be a new starting point for me and a great opportunity for professional growth. I will do my utmost to repay the trust placed in me'.
Danilo: "I became aware of the group through the second-level Master's degree in Space Science and Technology that I am attending at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. Several professionals from the company (including my current Key Account Manager, Alessio Di Salvo) gave lectures on the main topics of interest to me in the space field, showing enormous expertise and conveying the importance of the projects that have been addressed and those that are now being developed. And along the way, the group got to know me and had access to my CV, and at the beginning of June, to my great joy, they selected me to undergo a series of interviews to place me at Fucino. And here I am!".
Stefania: "I became acquainted with the world of personnel administration almost by chance, attending a Professional Training Course in Personnel Selection and Administration. This was a sector that immediately interested me and which, with the intense work experience of more than fifteen years, led me to qualify as a labour consultant. My joining Defence Tech is undoubtedly an important upgrade for my career: I immediately noticed the important professionalism and qualifications of the team and the environment within it. I work in a very stimulating environment and as a result I think I can really learn a lot'.
Federico: "Ever since I was a child, I have always been attracted to the world of aerospace, and when it came to choosing my university path, it could only have been a Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering. Then, given the exams and my born passion for structural mechanics and structures, my university career veered towards a master's degree in mechanical engineering. As soon as I finished my studies, also directed by my thesis professor, I found a position in a small, long-established family-run company in the world of defence and aerospace. This adventure made me grow both as an individual and as an engineer, giving me great and wonderful experiences. However, given its small size, after a few years it started to get too small for me, so when there was a chance to return to my first passion of space and get to know the reality of a large company, I had no choice but to change and start this new adventure.
