Interview with Elettra D'Ubaldo, HR Specialist at Defence Tech: 'Defence Tech's real asset is its people'
Elettra D'Ubaldo, HR specialist at Defence Tech, joined Next in 2003 as part of the administration and then HR team. After the acquisition of Next within the Defence Tech group, accompanied by an exponential growth in the number of resources, she now deals extensively with the administration and management of human resources and the scouting of new talent.
"What I love most about my job at Defence Tech is the opportunity to constantly learn something new. I feel very rewarded by the company, both for the recognition I have received over time and for the esteem and support of my colleagues."
Defence Tech is the first large structured company in which she works, after several years of working in the administrative offices of smaller companies. It was precisely the opportunity to work within a company of this size that allowed her to discover a new side to her work, that of aggregation: 'at Defence Tech I certainly learnt how to work in a team, also thanks to the Team Building that the company organises, while from a strictly operational point of view I learnt a lot and I certainly still have a lot to learn'.
Speaking of Defence Techof its current strengths and a possible vision for the future, D'Ubaldo thinks that: 'financial stability is certainly a plus point for Defence Tech, but it is not the only one. Its real assets are above all its people, and in fact I expect further growth in the next few years in the number of staff employed, and consequently in projects and turnover'.
In private life does not lack that touch of adventure that he also finds at work. "My hobbies are sport in general, and in particular hiking, but in my heart there is especially room for table football - I am also a member of the Italian Football League. When I want to rest, I dabble in cinema, theatre, knitting and looking after my two cats."
