In the article, the CEO of Defence tech addresses the topic of Quantum Computinganalysing the flip side of the coin to the ability of quantum technologies to solve complex problems.
"However, we do not only face the risk that adversarial actors may have the availability of a quantum computer.
Quantum Cyber Security is the field that studies all aspects concerning the security and confidentiality of communications and computing caused by the development of quantum technologies.
They are as dangerous if exploited by an adversarial actor as they are advantageous in the hands of an honest actor'.
And in this context, where does the work of the Group?
"[...] we, as Defence Tech, have drawn up a development plan for a product that, in addition to the symmetrical algorithms required for confidentiality, robust to quantum computer attacks, sees the use of a 'quantum resistant' algorithm, completely Italian, that guarantees security, authentication and integrity to communications".
